KATIE AILION

 

(she/her) is an actress based in New York City originally from Atlanta, GA. She is a proud graduate of the prestigious UNC School of the Arts BFA Acting Program. Katie continues her training in NYC working at the Master Level in Film Technique with Bob Krakower, in Meisner Technique with Laura Henry, and in Advanced Improv at Upright Citizens Brigade (RIP).

On stage, she most recently opened the world premiere of Matthew Greene’s Thousand Pines, directed by Tony-nominated Austin Pendleton. For her performance she received a Connecticut’s Critic’s Circle Award Nomination. The cast was also able to raise hundreds of dollars for gun violence awareness in lieu of the subject-matter.

As a multi-faceted go-getter who believes in community, Katie also produces a monthly resource for actors called BIZZY. Set to launch in Summer 2020, the e-zine focuses on realistic topics of actor lifestyle (like mental/artistic health, financial organization, and self-producing, etc.) by utilizing personal and professional anecdotes, advice, and experience.

Katie is represented theatrically by Richard Fisher and Justin Picca at A3 Artists Agency and commercially by Tracey Goldblum at KMR. She is a proud member of the Actors Equity Association and believes in equal & fair wages on stage, screen and everywhere.
